Liz and Eli on the Move

We miss you all! We spent the day at Sunset Beach, south of Santa Cruz, and had a picnic-style meal with eli’s sister Nathalie’s family and some of their friends. The day was a nice west-coast alternative to the traditional feast. As you can see, it was a beautiful sunny and clear day, though the ocean water is so cold my feet were completely numb after a minute- I definitely didn’t get in past my knees! Hope all of you enjoyed Thanksgiving with good people in as low-stress environment as possible.

We took a day trip to see the migrating Monarch butterflies with the Strongs. Unfortunately, you need a telephoto lens to get a good shot of those winged ones!

We were lucky enough to have our second Golden Gate bridge-crossing of our trip on a beautiful, clear afternoon.
