even tall lighthouses don’t take that long to climb, not that we blame the lighthouse. The view from the top was impressive, even on an overcast day.
We experienced a few days of clouds and sporadic rain here in NC. Yesterday (Friday) we drove down to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, which you probably know better as the tallest brick lighthouse in the US. Given this tidbit, we were prepared for a hardcore climbing workout.
Ok, as you are seeing, blogging is turning out to be in the style of adding a bunch of new stuff every 5 days instead of a little bit of new stuff every day, but hey, we’re doing the best we can. North Carolina has been great, even if eli is disappointed that there’s not as many monster trucks here as he remembered from his last visit. We arrived on Monday and had a great beach day on Tuesday. Behold, our niece Anna, master hole digger!
